To start, stop, and restart the Apache Web Server (httpd) on Ubuntu, you can use the /etc/init.d/apache2 script.
You need to ssh to your Pod as root, or use sudo command. Here are each of the commands:
root@mypod:~# sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 start
root@mypod:~# sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 stop
root@mypod:~# sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

The node module, forever, can be used to start Ghost in the background, and monitor to make sure it stays up. If Ghost crashes, forever will automatically start another instance of Ghost.
Install forever with this command from within your Ghost directory: npm install -g forever.
